Face tells the story. To many of us, face is the first thing that matters. Outlook is what matters to most of us nowadays. So demand of good looking people has increased considerably and it has almost become a necessity to look good. You might be thinking what the hell I am talking about and what the hell does the heading mean. Not to worry, I am here to explain that only.
Have you heard about plastic or cosmetic surgery? For those who are not aware of this fact, plastic surgery is a surgical process which is done to correct or restore form and function. It is mainly applied on the face of an individual to restore the physical appearance of a damaged portion. Hang Mioku is the name of a woman of Korea who has a severe obsession to this process of plastic surgery. She had her plastic surgery done at an early age of 28, and since then she continued this awkward trend of having a plastic surgery done every now and then. This obsession went to such a level that she injected cooking oil in her face with an injection provided by a doctor of Korea. Hang Mioku initially moved to Japan after having her first surgery. This migration was basically to carry forward her objective of having more surgeries on her face as the doctors in Korea refused to perform any more surgeries on the face of Hang Mioku. Repeated cosmetic surgeries resulted in enlargement and disfigurement of her face. However, she did not stop looking at the mirrors and admiring herself

After a brief stint with cosmetic surgery in the country of the Rising Sun, Hang Mioku returned to her homeland Korea only to be not recognized by her parents. Her face was so badly disfigured that even her own parents were not able to recognize their child. It took a tough task to make her parents believe that she was indeed their child. After that, her parents blamed a psychological disease for the cause of this severe obsession. Treatment was started for the psychological disorder, however it became an obstacle for her parents as the charges of this treatment was too expensive. Meanwhile, Hang Mioku found out a doctor who agreed to lend a hand to her obsession. This doctor gave her injections of silicon and eventually gave her an injection and silicon so that she could inject it by herself only. Cooking oil substituted silicone when the silicon stock was exhausted. This resulted in further enlargement of her face. She soon became a figure talked about by everyone. Television channels started telecasting various types of programs about Hang Mioku. Sympathy and help arrived in the form of donations from all over the world. With the help of the money collected through donations, doctors performed a surgery on the face of Hang Mioku trying to reduce its size and volume. Surgeons who performed this hugely tough surgery said that they removed large amounts of cooking oil from her neck and face. She now craves for getting back her original face, however it is quite impossible now. Several surgeries have resulted in considerable reduction of her face size but getting back the original structure is not at all possible according to the doctors. She has just gone too far with her obsession and this realization has come very late. Nothing can be done now.
This incident gives rise to another important aspect that is of mental or psychological disorders. Cases of mental disease are high nowadays and there is no prime reason for it. Stress of day to day life, anxiety, depression has become very common in this so called developing world. The world is developing but are we also in the phase of development? This question needs a serious and quick answer. Steps should be taken as soon as possible to prevent cases of mental diseases. The future looks bleak and if nothing is done at the present moment, our future generation is bound to suffer more than what we are facing right now. It is our own responsibility and duty to make conditions sustainable for our upcoming generations so that they can lead a peaceful life, free from all these

Donatella Versace

Donatella Versace is one of fashion's survivors - not least for enduring the misery of her brother Gianni's murder on July 15 1997 - she had always been his muse and he dedicated perfume Blonde to her and her famed platinum mane. She has kept Versace as a major player in the fashion stakes since his death, whilst publicly emerging from her own addiction issues.

She now oversees the production of a dozen collections each year. Versus - which was handed to her by her brother - has been successful for more than a decade. Celebrities love her and she has a loyal following, from Elizabeth Hurley to Jennifer Lopez.

Donatella is now separated from her former husband, former model Paul Beck. They have two children and Beck continues to look after Versace's advertising. Together they pioneered the use of celebrities in advertising brands, recently using Madonna then Demi Moore.

• Gianni, Santo and Donatella Versace were brought up in Calabria, Italy, by their father and dressmaker mother
• After her uncle's death, it was Donatella's daughter Allegra - then aged 11 - who inherited the lion's share of his fortune - a 50 per cent stake in the Versace brand.
• In February 2001, Donatella launched her own fragrance, Versace Woman

Under Donatella Versace's watch, the company has moved beyond clothing to include fashion, accessories, home furnishings, and hotels into a complete lifestyle brand. The brand has confirmed cult status. Gianni's niece (Santo's daughter), Francesca Versace, also studied fashion at Central Saint Martins.

In 2008 Donatella Versace was made the honorary chairman for London's Fashion Fringe, judging upcoming designer talent.

In 2009 Donatella asked Christopher Kane to revive Versus the diffusion line originally started off by her brother, Gianni Versace in the Eighties. The pair have successfully revitalised the brand, making it a major player again on the Fashion Week schedule.
